Gas Works To Start On Quay Road In February
Northern Gas Networks say that works on Quay Road starts February 4th.
Spokesperson for Northern Gas Networks had this to say
"Work will begin on Monday 4 February 2019 and is scheduled to last for approximately 15 weeks. In order for works to be carried out safely and efficiently, it will be necessary to implement a road closure on a section of Quay Road for the full duration of the project."
"The road closure will be in place on Quay Road from the junction of Moorfield Road to Prospect Street. A signed diversion route will be in place for motorists."
Pete Knapton, Network Officer for Northern Gas Networks said:
“We have been working closely with East Riding of Yorkshire Council to carefully plan these works and will be doing all we can to minimise disruption to customers.
“We’d like to apologise for any inconvenience customers may encounter and thank everyone for their support as we work to complete this project as safely and quickly as possible.”
NGN will be holding a community drop-in event at Bridlington Sports and Community Club, Moorfield Road, Bridlington, YO16 4LE, between 4.30pm and 6pm on Tuesday 15 January 2019, where customers can find out more about the works and ask any questions they may have.
