Bridlingtons old town Dickensian festival is a huge success
Every year seems to get more visitors to the Old town Dickensian Festival.
This year saw many themed fancy dress costumes from visitors and stall holders alike, and the organisers would like to thank all the visitors who turned up in themed costume "as it really adds to the atmosphere" said David Hinde (Bellman of Bridlington Old Town).
The event started at 10am with Santa arriving in his sleigh at around 11.30am. A Georgian themed street and the large Victorian street organ also helped create the feel of stepping back in time.
Entertainment was provided by Bridlington Coastal voices, Punch and Judy show, Morris Dancers and Pipes and Drums.
